Winter is here and lots of exciting things are happening
at Celebration Farm. I'd like to start by extending a warm welcome to the
Zoul family and their darling mare "Betts." It's a little chillier than
Georgia, but we'll do all we can to keep it warm around here for you! I'd
also like to congratulate my dear friends Sandie and her daughter Kara on
their purchase of "Clyde" -- he was a tall order but definitely living up to
his expectations........................... We recently attended our first
horse show of the new season and what a success! Noa and her pony "Summer"
were stars of the short stirrup division winning prizes in every class --
great job! Hadley and "Peaches" were also terrific in the short stirrups
and got a ribbon even though it was their very first horse show --WOW!
Audrey also took a turn on "Peaches" in the leadline and tied for 1st place,
way to go, Auds!!! Jordyn and "Betts" made their debut in the beginner
divisions as did Kara and "Clyde." Both duos were outstanding and came home
with ribbons to reward their efforts. Corry moved up a notch on "Justin"
and did a beautiful job ending up reserve champion in the limit equitation
-- go Corry! Sophie and "Emmy" kept their winning streak alive ending up
champion in both the non-pros and Junior equitation and also winning their
very first mini-medal -- Congratulations!!! I was so proud of the support
that surrounded our team at the show and I look forward to a very successful
2009 season. A special thanks to my family, Kate, Rene, and Roger, for your
continued support and hard work. Words can't describe how appreciative I
am.
