Why horsemanship? There are many young riders in our industry today, but few
of them have an extensive knowledge about the beautiful creatures with which
we work. Through our horsemanship camp, we will strive to teach our young
horse-lovers how to truly care for these magnificent animals, how to be
confident and competent around them, and the importance of gaining an
understanding about every aspect of the horse. In return, our students build
self-esteem while learning something new and exciting and building a
relationship with an amazing animal! It is one thing to be able to ride
well, but to be a well rounded horseperson is quite another. This is a
lifelong and wonderful learning process, and the only way to truly gain
knowledge and be comfortable around horses is to experience them first hand!
